This gorgeous piece of art brings new meaning to the question: "Who gives a flying ****?" Apparently, Natla does. :)One would normally expect the in-control, dominant, and powerful Lara to be the futanari in a pairing of this sort. However, Natla is appropriately granted the honor as it complements the petrous nature of her body. It would appear that Natla has not yet penetrated Lara as evident by the lack of any dripping wetness... The action is on the verge of beginning.
Focusing on Natla: Her nude depiction is very faithful to her demonic appearance at the end of the game. Her erect futahood highlights her heightened state of arousal, and I especially like her display of tenderness as she gently supports Lara's back and butt with her hands... She clearly desires this coupling to occur and wants Lara to be as comfortable as possible during it. Natla's wonderfully proportioned areola-less breasts contrast sharply with Lara's huge and areola-rich breasts. (Large areolas are very common in Dmitrys' drawing style, and it is unique to see him draw a female without any). Natla is a simple thrust away from consummating their bodily union.
Focusing on Lara: To further help distribute her supported weight, Lara holds the back of Natla's neck with her left hand while interlocking her feet behind Natla's back. Lara definitely does not want Natla going anywhere and desires this union just as bad as her. Symbology: This drawing hints that clothing symbolizes aggressiveness. Note that Lara, with her clothing violently ripped apart, is depicted in a very submissive manner. Note, however, that her feet are the only body parts to have undamaged clothing articles and their interlocked position also displays the only aggressive aspect of Lara's pose. Lara's breast size remains faithful to her normal character design, and the holding of her right breast is the only depiction of self-induced pleasure in this scene. The linework, coloring, and shading of this drawing is exquisite. I think the reason I love this piece of artwork so much, though, is that it contains a large number of contrasting yet complementary aspects. Skin color, nipple/areola size, clothing presence, and the soft human vs. hard demoness theme are obvious, but knowing the back-story of these characters reveals that they would never have considered doing anything like this... Whereas they were adversaries in the game, they are lovers in this drawing. Perhaps the most powerful contrasting element in this drawing is the environment, which is not at all conducive to a sexual encounter. As indicated by Lara's ponytail, Natla's emanating "hair", the trailing embers surrounding them, and the reddish glow that emanates from below, Lara and Natla are falling towards the pit of lava from their final confrontation in the game. The ominous danger contrasts beautifully with the impending passion these two are about to share. The pressure is clearly on Natla, though, who must balance her passion with awareness of their surroundings to prevent any harm from befalling them both. Lara has completely entrusted her wellbeing upon Natla... Her fate is literally in Natla's hands.
The enchanting position that Lara and Natla have jointly discovered yields a tenable depiction of a passionate mid-air sexual act. Some questions to ponder:
- Whereas Lara is staring directly into Natla's eyes, Natla's glowing eyes preclude us from seeing what she is looking at. Is she returning the stare? ...or is she looking at Lara's huge breasts?
- It is unlikely that Lara was capable of tearing her own pants and shirt in such a fashion, so what exactly happened? Did Natla tear them? ...or were they damaged during preceding combat?
Note that an alternate rendition of this drawing exists in which Natla's futanari/demoness form is replaced with her human form plus wings. A brief analysis of this alternate version adds even more depth to the original version. A huge layer of passion is added knowing that Natla's and Lara's eyes are staring deep into one another's... There is some definite soul intermingling here. Lara's un-torn clothing would indicate that it was Natla's demoness form that was responsible for ripping the clothes in the original version. Also, the addition of an empty holster along Lara's thigh further symbolizes her submissive depiction.
