As an avid yet cautious figure collector, I am always wary when purchasing from a manufacturer that is new to me. This Ryuumin figure was my first Banpresto purchase, and with its meager price of about $13US, I was initially prepared for disappointment. As is the case with low expectations, though, they can occasionally yield memorably surprising experiences...Sporting a stunning red cheongsam, the thin-framed Ryuumin stands in a relaxed pose with a gentle smile. The appropriate and well-conceived creases and wrinkles in her dress and pink shoulder-high gloves further highlight her lovely curves. Not having seen Gundam 00, I cannot comment on how well this figure portrays Ryuumin in the anime. However, her poise is simply exquisite resulting in a figure that is gorgeous to behold from many angles. She just screams "voluptuous."
One's eyes cannot help but be drawn to Ryuumin's large breasts, which is a primary highlight of this figure. Although her chest is completely covered, her tight form-fitting dress leaves little to the imagination... The dress is wrapped so tightly that fabric wrinkles in the cleavage area further accentuate each breast's individual globular shape.
Close inspection of her backside reveals a wonderful surprise. Although not immediately apparent due to her obscuring right arm, her dress's seductive V-shaped backline goes down quite far... so far, in fact, that she proudly displays some buttock cleavage, perhaps to compensate for the lack of any direct breast exposure. This provocative panty-free revelation adds another degree of sexuality to this already beautiful figure.

Closing Thoughts
Finding Ryuumin's character design & outfit quite visually appealing, I can easily say this figure was worth every penny... and then some. Although design imperfections tend to be more noticeable upon close examination of smaller figures, such flaws are easily forgivable when inexpensive figures such as this are so well conceived. It is refreshing to find that this Ryuumin figure can hold her own even without uber-high detail, design gimmicks, or multiple accessories that are becoming more commonplace with PVC figures nowadays. Sometimes all it takes is some simple elegance.
