Choosing between Nanaka and Nailkaizer was the most difficult decision I had to make in this tournament.

ROUND 1 REFLECTION: Jeanne clearly dominated round 1 by earning 56% of votes while Takahashi just barely secured second place. Sadly, we must say goodbye to Maya, whose self-fellatio techniques did not impress voters, and the passionate Linea, who (much to my surprise) only earned two votes... one of which was mine! I suspect that Sherisernes' helpless portrayal upon transforming into a futanari and Rei's outdated character design are what led to their early eliminations. Thoughts?
I was split between Riyouko and Sherisernes myself, but after a little further consideration Riyouko won hands down. Something about her forcefulness really does it for me and her voice actress portrays that aspect really well.
Also there was just plain more futa with Riyouko, as that was the primary focus of the series she was in. Good variety of partners and acts covered within that.
Oh, whoops, forgot to discuss my round 3 pick. Narrowed it down to Nanaka and Yume, went with Yume. Nanaka seemed a bit generic to me, and although her animation and voice actress portrayal was solid, I feel like she didn't stand out so much.
I favored Yume over Nanaka because of her transformation, where she loses control of herself due to her desires as a futanari. I really liked how she loses herself and has sex with her priestess-attendant, the orange-haired woman whose name I can't remember for the life of me, while not entirely herself. The additional complication of the orange-haired woman already having feelings towards Yume was especially appealing for me; it was nice to see them have a scene together where Yume is sorry for what happened before, but her attendant still wants to have sex regardless.

ROUND 3 REFLECTION: Likely due to her beautiful character design, high quality animation, antagonistic portrayal, and featuring one of the best ejaculations ever animated, it comes as no surprise that Nanaka dominated this round. The more youthful, tender, and innocent Yume manages to barely skirt by Kaori to take second place, showing once again that the previous generation futanari (Linea, Rei, and now Kaori) simply cannot keep [it] up. (2) www.nagomi.ne.jp -- This Japanese site is a gold mine for rare used doujinshi... For Shimoyakedou's titles, search for しもやけ堂. You will need to order through a proxy service if you live outside Japan, though.

ROUND 4 REFLECTION: As a recurring futanari with many encounters over a number of Bible Black episodes, Reika Kitami unsurprisingly swamped the competition this round. Sakurako-san manages a modest second place while Nozomi's and Necros' poor performances reenforce this tournament's voting trend that older generation futanari seem to struggle against more modern day ones. As the first competitor thus far to receive no votes, poor Necros shows that size is not the only thing that matters... A futanari has to utilize her special gift instead of just flaunting it.
ROUND 5 REFLECTION: Voters were clearly charmed by the alluring Nailkaizer, who easily wins this round with Valkryie taking a distant second. Unfortunately for Ihabella, her bold vision of a world populated only by girls and futanari was not enough to sway voters her way... Either that, or bespectacled futanari are simply not the rage nowadays. And lastly, like Necros before her, Karla strikes out completely with not a single vote... ROUND 6 REFLECTION: Unsurprisingly, Imari emerges as the clear dominant victor in this round while Kuon BARELY manages to sneak past Mija to take second place. I was so pleased that she was popular enough to win the first round (although I doubt she stands any chance against Nailkaizer, Valkryie, and Imari in the quarterfinals). What I really like about Kuon's encounter with Hinomico is that she is supposed to be using her sexuality to extract information, but she ends up completely losing herself to the pleasures of being a futanari. Although she briefly regains control during the kissing scene you mentioned (I share your fondness for that scene as well, especially how she is clearly fascinated by Hinomico's soft lips), Kuon completely forgets her objective after inserting herself inside Hinomico's vagina. ROUND 7 REFLECTION: Saeki's emergence as the clear winner of this round marks the third time a Bible Black character has completely dominated the competition. Riuru easily holds second place, but the younger characters Lily and Noriko barely put up a fight. Noriko's poor performance was understandable given her relative newness in the world of animated futanari. However, Lily's poor performance is most surprising, especially since she was a main character with a lot of screen time. I would have thought her uber-cuteness, youthful character design, and detailed animation would have wooed a lot more voters, especially her innocent futanari transformation. Are people voting for Bible Black characters simply because they're from the more well-known Bible Black? ...or do people truly prefer these mature futanari over younger ones?
ROUND 8 REFLECTION: For the first time in this tournament, a Bible Black character plays second fiddle to another futanari. Jody easily secures second place, but it is Discode's introverted yet pleasure-craving Futaba who emerges as this round's victor. Representing the last chance for a 20th century futanari to advance in this tournament, Jun only secures three measly votes, proving that the classic futanari are simply not appreciated nowadays. Perhaps the most surprising result of this round is that Yayoi actually received more votes than Jun. This completely boggles my mind... If there is anyone who voted for Yayoi who would be willing to comment on their reasoning, I would be most appreciative.
ROUND 9 REFLECTION: After working together to defeat Linea and Maya, Takahashi and Jeanne team up again to surpass Riyouko and Viper GTS's head angel. I was quite surprised that Riyouko lost this round, given how she had two entire h-anime episodes dedicated to her various encounters as a futanari... Perhaps the less-than-stellar animation is what did her in. I was hopeful the heavenly Viper GTS head angel would have advanced further, but we have reached a more competitive point in this tournament where well-known futanari will sadly start to fall.
I voted for Jeanne. I appreciate her complete loss of control and unrelenting desire to cum in that other woman. Pure win.

I watched it a few more times and I've begun to notice something.

I was always hoping a third installment of the Angel Blade series would focus a little more on her. She's horribly under-utilized.
I couldn't have said it better, PsycheDiver. Nailkaizer's character design (outfit design/colors, dark skin tone, body proportions, hair, etc) all come together in one uber-sharp package. I especially like her confidence in fighting with such a bare-all outfit.
If I could personally develop another Angel Blade installment, I would definitely focus on Nailkaizer's past and the events that led up her dream at the beginning of Punish. That flashback dream was quite an emotional scene, seeing her run while obviously terrified, embrace the comforting Phantom Lady, and then transform from her underdeveloped body to her full-figured winged form.
How did she get into that situation? Did she want to transform her body? Did she know Phantom Lady beforehand? So many questions remain unanswered!
Voted for Yume again in the previous round, but of course that's kind of obvious seeing as how much I liked her scene in Daiakuji. Too bad she had to go, but I'm guessing that not too many people have seen all of Daiakuji, it being an older series and not as widely shared as the newer stuff.
Voted for Nailkaizer in this round. I liked Kuon's scene well enough, same goes for Valkyrie, but Asakawa Yuu as Nailkaizer's voice actress seals the choice for me. I'm a big fan of her work in other non-hentai series, but the same quality and tone is present in Angel Blade. The best I can describe what it is I like about her voice is the quality of restraint in it, I guess. Something about the way she doesn't go for the usual catalog of high-pitched moans really appeals to me.
I do believe that character familiarity has been playing a big role in this tournament, BemusedPear. Great futanari from older or lesser known series (such as Linea, Kaori, Jun, Yume) have not been doing well at all. Upon further thought, I probably should have organized the tournament into two divisions of futanari: classic vs. modern. Oh well, maybe next time...
Yes, I cannot imagine Nailkaizer being voiced by anyone other than the distinct Asakawa Yuu, who really "nailed" the part. One of my favorite anime comedies is Azumanga Daioh, and it is SO strange hearing Nailkaizer's voice whenever quiet, shy Sakaki actually speaks. ^_^

ROUND 11 REFLECTION: Imari and Nailkaizer establish themselves as VERY strong contenders for the crown. One has to give credit to Valkyrie for a good fight, but she was completely outmatched. And then there's poor Kuon... an unlikely underdog that managed to reach a second round only because of very weak competition in her first. Her encounter with Himomiko is a shining example of how even a powerful, in-control character can become completely overwhelmed with the physical sensations of being a futanari. I applaud the single individual who provided her with a much-deserved pity vote before this round concluded.

In regards to Riuru, I still stand by my vote for her as she wonderfully exemplifies the "determined futanari seeking sexual release". Although they both showed promise in their first rounds, they were unable to withstand the combined force of Saeki and Futaba who advance to the semis.
It looks to me like the challengers were seeded. Nail, Nanaka and Futaba have yet to face each others. They are definitely the dark horses in the battle. I'm going to hate choosing between them.
Assuming Nail, Nanaka, and Futaba actually MAKE it to the finals (who'd have thought Nanaka would struggle in the semis?!), you aren't the only one who's going to have a hard time choosing... Given the high caliber of the combatants still remaining, a choice for one futanari is beginning to feel like a harsh betrayal against the other three. ^_^

I too wanted NailKaizer to win, yet I can't deny that Nanaka had better scenes which better displayed her abilities.
