Well, my ongoing studies of the Japanese language seem to be paying off.

As my first mini-project, I decided to test my new skills by translating a panel from an old Noir doujinshi in which Kirika, having just experienced an orgasm from a passionate kiss with an almost nude Mireille, cools down while resting her head on Mireille's chest. As Mireille stares up pensively, Kirika's dreamy yet focused gaze and gentle caress serve to provide this drawing's clear visual focal point: Mireille's right breast. I always wanted to know what they could POSSIBLY be talking about... Now that I do (or think I do), I find the scene even more captivating.

Like the drawing itself, the dialog is completely focused on Mireille's breasts. Kirika verbally reinforces her tactile and visual sensations by describing their various qualities. In response to Kirika's comment about their size, Mireille shares her feelings on how large breast size also has its downsides. It's a shame, though, that Mireille does not provide further insight into Kirika's remarks about their warmth and softness...

I was frustrated by several phrases that I simply cannot find in any dictionary or grammar book. Mireille's comment "iitte mondemo nai kedo ne" completely eludes me. I am also surprised that I cannot find ジヤマ (jiyama) in any dictionary, so I ultimately went out on a limb and assumed it was some katakana shortened version of "jama suru" which means to hinder/interfere.

I admit that I spent a long time on this one panel and am still not sure I got it 100% right. Well, back to studying.
